Express Car Wash
At an express car wash, the customer drives up to the conveyor at the entrance of the wash and pays the attendant. The attendant directs the customer to pull their vehicle onto the conveyor. The attendant then preps the vehicle and sends it through the tunnel. The customer stays in the vehicle as it moves through the tunnel and then they drive their vehicle off the conveyor when the wash is finished.

Express Exterior Car Wash
At an express exterior car wash, the customer pays for their wash at one of the pay terminals that are positioned several car lengths away from the entrance to the conveyor. After the terminal has received payment, a gate lifts up and the customer pulls forward to the entrance of the tunnel. An attendant is usually, but not always, present to guide the customer onto the conveyor and usually the vehicle is not prepped. The customer stays in their vehicle as they move through the tunnel and then they drive their vehicles off the conveyor when the wash is finished.
